Annual Surgical Performance Report – Year 2025

ENT Unit - I: Departmental Strengths and Professional Performance
ENT Unit - I demonstrates a broad surgical profile, covering routine, emergency, and advanced subspecialty procedures. Key strengths include:
- Airway management: tracheostomy, airway reconstruction, debulking surgeries.
- Head & neck surgery: thyroidectomy, maxillectomy, parotidectomy, tongue biopsies, neck explorations.
- Emergency/trauma care: deep neck infections, cut-throat repair, Ludwig’s angina, foreign body removal.
- Otology: mastoid surgery, cochlear implantation.
✔ Exhibits surgical precision, adaptability, and multidisciplinary coordination in complex cases, contributing significantly to comprehensive and high-quality ENT patient care.
ENT Unit - II: Departmental Strengths and Professional Performance
ENT Unit - II maintains high-volume surgical activity with efficient workflow and structured practice. Key strengths include:
- Endoscopic/diagnostic procedures: FESS, direct laryngoscopy, pan-endoscopy, bronchoscopy, esophagoscopy.
- Airway management: tracheostomy and peri-operative care.
- Rhinology: septoplasty, septorhinoplasty, nasal biopsies.
- Pediatric ENT: tonsillectomy, adenotonsillectomy.
✔ Demonstrates consistency, efficiency, and strong team coordination, contributing effectively to the department's clinical workload.
Both ENT-I and ENT-II upheld high standards of professionalism and surgical competence in 2025. Together, they ensured comprehensive coverage of routine, emergency, diagnostic, and advanced ENT services, strengthening departmental capacity for safe and effective patient care.
